Review – ‘Satyr’s Myst’ by Marie Harte

Blurb

A favor turns into so much more...

Lilah Tanner thought she'd finagled time on a private island for her own purposes -- to take a break from her dull, complacent life. She's a hard worker, a physical therapist, with a successful career but an unhappy love life. Not sure if it's due to her plain features or take-charge personality, she nevertheless wants more out of life than she has. So she does her cousin a favor and agrees to keep some rich playboy out of trouble on a tropical island. How hard can that be?

...when love is on the line.

The danger around Rick Hastings is far more than she bargained for. There's a stalker her cousin failed to mention, the threat of real harm from a hidden, outside source. But more than that, Lilah's bombarded with the reality of Rick Hastings and Trevor Reaper, two men too sexual for her own good. Because it isn't long before Lilah is tempted, seduced, and in love. It will take all her courage to face her own insecurities and help Trevor and Rick face theirs in order to keep the men who've won her heart.

Review

In the third novella in the Satyr’s Myst series, Rick Hastings winds up a prisoner on his own private island. As the owner of a sex resort and a bi-sexual man, he’s used to a little danger, and he’s not taking the threats to his life seriously—until he’s kidnapped.
At the request of his brother Ethan, Trevor Reaper agrees to “kidnap” Rick in order to keep the man safe from the real threats stalking him, but Trevor never expected to feel anything sexual for Rick since he’s a straight man. Trevor does, however, occasionally fantasize about being with a woman and a man at the same time.
Lilah Turner agrees to keep an eye on Rick at the behest of her cousin Elise, Rick’s former lover, and the two gorgeous men claim her body for their own within minutes of meeting her. As Lilah and Trevor experience sexual freedom with each other and with Rick, under Rick’s guidance, love unexpectedly blooms between them.
Wow! Talk about a hot threesome! Rick, Trevor, and Lilah work perfectly together. They each show one another love, concern, and attention without showing favoritism and acting in jealously. Though this book seemed to have more sex and less action than the previous books, I really liked it and would read it again.
4 Stars
