Hello, I’m Rachel Kenley, one of the Silken Sheets & Seduction authors. I am thrilled to be a contributor to gorgeous and hot box set.  I’ve been in several anthologies and edited many, but being part of this group of writers and creating this set for you has been a great deal of fun.  I hope that you not only like the stories – but will continue to follow our adventures on our blog!

My story is Just’s Desserts, a contemporary romance about Justine, a woman who puts all her passion into her desserts, and Adam, a man who saves his passion for work.  Both have been burned by love, but thanks to a luscious chocolate confection created by Justine, Adam is willing and anxious to sample more of this curvy erotic woman.  It’s one of the shorter stories in our set, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Justine because she’s someone who’s so ready to come out of her shell; she just needs the right person to show her how amazing she is.

The dessert that intrigues Adam is called Meglio Sesso which is Italian for better than sex.  I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite dessert recipes.  An easy one, but an amazing treat is a good flourless chocolate cake (which also works if being gluten free is part of your eating choices).  A great recipe for this can be found here.  It’s wonderfully rich.    If you’re willing to do a little work, and have more time, there’s nothing like cheesecake. Once you get the hang of a basic recipe for this, you can start having fun by adding your favorite flavors and toppings.  If you make a plain one – serve with lots of different fruits and chocolate curls to make it interesting.   Finally, if you live in a place with cold winters like I do, sometimes you want a warm dessert.  This warm apple-buttermilk custard pie will start to heat up your night!
