#CharacterInterview - "Trinity and Jeff" by Kate Hill

Let's welcome the hero from Trinity and Jeff! He's visiting my blog today for a little one on one.

What’s your name? (Though that's a little redundant given the title of your story. 😉)
Jeff Greco

What do you look like?

I’m about six feet three inches tall with longish dark hair and brown eyes. I love to work out and it’s important to stay fit for my job, so I have an athletic build.

What time period does your story take place?

Present day.

What’s your goal in this story?
To convince my oldest friend, Trinity, that she should marry me, and to keep her safe because she’s like a magnet for trouble.

What conflicts are you facing?
Trinity comes from a magical family, and her family’s magic often brings them together with their soulmates. Trinity is convinced that because of the magic, she’s meant to be with someone other than me. I don’t know why she can’t see that we don’t need her family’s magic to tell us we’re meant to be together forever.

What is your occupation?
Are you any good at it? Do you like it? I’m a firefighter, and I think I’m good at it. I give it everything I’ve got, and yeah, I love my work.

What is your family like?
My family can be a little old-fashioned about some things, but they’re good people. I don’t always agree with them, but I love them. I’m like an honorary member of Trinity’s family, too. They’re a little strange, but great.

What is people’s first impression of you?
Most people tend to be intimidated by me at first. Trinity says it’s because I’m like an animal, but she likes it. I can be a little rough sometimes, but I’m a nice guy. Really. Get to know me and you’ll see.

What other character from your book do you think your author should write a book about? Care to tell us why?
Orion. My author is writing his story now. He’s one of the weirdest guys I’ve ever met, but Trinity’s cousin Amelia likes him a lot.

Trinity and Jeff (Wild Witches of Beaver Bay)
by Kate Hill

Blurb:

Denying her love for her childhood friend, Jeff, Trinity visits her family’s ancestral land, believing the Wild family magic has called her there to meet her soulmate. Instead she finds danger at every turn, but she won’t have to face it alone.

Jeff has loved Trinity his whole life, but settled for friendship after she broke his heart on prom night. Now this soldier turned firefighter faces the supernatural to protect Trinity and convince her once and for all that they belong together.
