Blurb
Two werewolves, a Scottish castle and the power of fate.
Highly ranked in her werewolf pack in spite of being female, American Mattie Sloane travels to Scotland with her Alpha, never suspecting the trip will turn her life upside down.
A rogue by nature, werewolf Colin MacPherson has to shape up fast when he finds his mate in Mattie.
Just one problem—they both love their countries and don’t want to move. How can they be mates an ocean apart?
Review
This is a very short story about werewolves Mattie and
Colin. She’s from the North American pack, and he’s from the Scottish pack. At
a multi-pack meeting in Scotland, they sniff each other for the first time, and
their attraction is immediate. It’s insta-lust and love. But they have a
problem. The Atlantic separates their homelands and neither wants to move.
Will they find a way to stay together?
Mattie and Colin are adorable. The author briefly
explains how there are different but similar worlds in existence with each other
and how these worlds overlap. I found it intriguing even though I didn’t really
understand it. Luckily, it’s not needed to understand and like the story.
This book is well edited, and though it’s considered the
first book in the Colliding Worlds series, it feels more like a prequel since
it’s so short at only 6000 words. I definitely want to check out more books in
the series.
