Review - 'Lies, Damned Lies, and Christmas' by JW Stacks

Review

Lee is the CEO of a video game company in San Francisco and he’s afraid of turning into his neglectful, workaholic father. Claire is a reporter for the small town newspaper, Mercy Ridge Crier. They met online under false pretenses and, after eight days of no contact, Lee decides to drop a grand and fly out to see Claire for the holidays. Problem is, neither of them really knows who the other is. He claimed to be a FBI agent and she claimed to be a bank executive.
But doesn’t stop love. Lee and Claire were great together. The way he proposed to her was soooo sweet and geeky. I loved it!
I loved revisiting characters from past books and seeing how their lives progressed.
This funny, heartwarming story is perfect for anyone who’s feeling a little down around Christmas. A great read.
5 Stars
