Summer Reads Hop - July 17-23


What's your favorite genre to read during the summer? Christmas stories to cool down, beach stories to heat up, sweet or spicy, or everything and anything in between?

    I mostly read romance during the summer. But I did read a life changing book, Trim Healthy Mama also this summer, I will forever be changed. Life long way to live.

      Romance is great any time of the year, especially on those hot summer nights. :) Trim Heathly Mama sounds like a health/fitness book. I gotta check it out.

    Best of luck on all of your writing endeavors. As for myself, my first romance endeavor is a YA Paranormal romance novel "I Kissed a Ghost" which I wrote when I FINALLY took the advice of another to write something for a younger audience, I'm now doing a TOTAL REWRITE of the adult Contemporary I'd been writing for years. I never got into reading erotica...call me old-fashioned

      And to you, Robin. I don't read much YA but I love paranormal books so I'll check out 'I Kissed a Ghost'. I'm intrigued by the title. Adult contemporary, historical, erotica, romantic suspense and paranormal novels are my favorite to read.

    I mostly read romances with a little mystery thrown in for a diversion. LOL. I am currently reading the Coletti Warlord series by Gail Koger and loving it. If you like kick-ass heroines and hunky alien heroes, you will love this series. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win. <^_^>
