Review - Island Bride by Danica Winters

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Amy Oliver’s life revolves around her career as a wedding planner. She’s been hurt in the past and is afraid to open herself up again. Liam Stewart is a hotel owner in New Zealand and he knows that life isn’t all about work. He sets off to teach Amy that very fact in delightful, fun ways that kept a smile on my face.
Since the story is only about 43 pages long, their romance blooms quickly but believably. I enjoyed watching Amy struggle between having fun and staying focused on what she thought was most important to her. She needed to find a middle ground and I wanted to pat her on the back once she finally did.
I love Danica’s writing style. The book flowed smoothly and I don’t think I found many typos, if any. Although the story ended a little abruptly, it didn’t take away from the beauty of the characters and the gorgeous surroundings.
Thank you to the author, Danica Winters, for providing me a copy of this book for an honest review.
