As part of the blog hop, Gina asked everyone to tell about a time they went nuts, or pecans as the case may be. Here's my story...
Going Pecans... well, the last time that happened to me was when my husband and I decided to buy a foreclosed house and land a few years ago. That was a well-worth it nightmare.
We spent over six months renovating a two-story farm house with five different sets of horrible redneck contractors (some even came in hungover or not at all) and a strict building inspector who's since been fired because he was so bad. Luckily, the electrician, plumber and mason were great people who worked on time and did a good job with their assigned projects.
We love our house and the new lives we created for ourselves but we never want to have another building experience like that again.
