Review
Mary and Stefan are on conflicting sides of a big
business development plan in the small town of Oakville. She’s been buying up
small businesses, he’s trying to save those businesses, and then he joins her
book club which puts a bigger wedge in between them. Or does it?
Sparks fly in this short, sweet romance. I love the fun
banter and dialogue between the couple, the side characters add a lot of depth,
and the book club book, ‘Midnight on the Orient Express’, is a masterpiece in my
opinion. Stefan (I LOVE that name) is hot, dominant and has a sexy accent. I swoon
over men with accents. Stefan and Mary are very attracted to one another but
they can’t stand each other, so there’s a lot of romantic tension.
The writing is great, few typos, and just an overall
great story.
