New Submission to BTGN

Waiting drives me crazy. I submitted a new novella to my publisher, Books to Go Now, about a week ago. I'm waiting for a response and I can't seem to stop checking my email every hour or so.
The book, A Hero's Heart, is a contemporary romantic thriller set at Christmas.

Please, BTGN, I need an answer!!!

Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Who doesn’t love gifts, giving gifts to people you care about and spending time with friends and family? Granted, it’s a stressful time of year but buck up! We have 11 months prior to prepare for the deadline and if you’re not ready, well, better luck next year.

So what’s your craziest Christmas memory? For Susanna and Camden, the happily-in-love couple from my Regency debut novella, Forever Winter, they would have to say the day they married. Yep, that’s right. This crazy couple decided to tie the knot on a snowy Christmas Eve in the English countryside. Sounds romantic, right? Wrong! Nothing went according to plan. The problems they faced almost ruined both their nuptials and the holiday.

Anyway, in honor of celebrating the six month mark until trees are decorated and sugar cookies in the shape of Santa are baking in the oven, I am giving away a beautiful handmade necklace/earring set and a free PDF copy of Forever Winter

Forever Winter Excerpt

Susanna trembled as sobs clogged her throat. Camden rushed to her side and wrapped his arms around her. His lips brushed across her forehead. His touch was too intimate but she didn’t have the strength or desire to pull away.
“Breathe,” he instructed. “There’s more than one man of the cloth in Derby, in your family’s parish. Another will be fetched.”
Susanna shook her head and then fisted her hands in his frilled shirt and striped waistcoat, crying as if the world had tumbled down on top of her. He held her close for several minutes, murmuring sweet words in her ear. She finally glanced up, her eyes red and puffy, and swallowed hard to find her voice. “Reverend Chauncey’s horse slipped on ice, so I doubt the road is travelable. I don’t want anyone else injured on our account.”
He nodded. “I love you, Susanna Lorican. Nothing will change that.” He clasped her tear-stained cheek in his palm. “Stay strong for me. We will get through this.”
Guilt overwhelmed her. Susanna squeezed her eyes shut and pried herself from his arms. She needed space and time to think. As he tried to hold her hand, she shifted from his grasp and scooted as far back on the sofa as possible. Tears leaked from her eyelids. “It’s all my fault.” She stared up at Camden as another sob clogged her throat. She felt so unworthy. Foolish. She clutched her hands in her skirts and forced down the sob. “I’m sorry. What was I thinking? A winter wedding? I must be insane.”

Mean Kitties

I just finished giving 5 cats a bath and I'm exhausted. Only two of them behaved with little crying and scratching. The other three were meanies!

Especially you, Darby Crash and Pepper Ann, your knives for claws are sharp!

My arms are scratched and I have a headache. Darby, my black little boy, dug his claw deep into my boob. I never knew he was such perv! LOL!

Jeesh, talk about kitties being possessed!

Ouch!
